A podcast instead of a PhD

Hi! I’m Gabs and for some reason when I was in middle school, I suddenly decided to make Shakespeare my personality. Kind of a mystery how it started to me now, but it’s an interest I’ve carefully crafted ever since. After focusing on Shakespeare for my undergraduate degree and thesis, I ended up steering away from academia (thanks Great Recession and my friends who raised the warning flags for me!) and wandered around as I tried to figure out what to do with my life.

Now I’m in a position where if I had the time and money, I’d go back to school but I don’t really have those things, so instead I’m doing this podcast! This is a way for me to reread some plays (or honestly read some for the first time), read and watch some stuff I’ve wanted to catch but never did and dig into some English and theater history. Truly, I’ve made a little dream project for myself.
